1) Lanzarote #1

As a CAR reader since my second year at UEA way back in 1970, I felt it was about time I sent in a snap. This was taken by my wife at Mirador Del Rio on the north eastern point of Lanzarote overlooking the island of La Graciosa.

2) NSX in Miami

I just thought I’d share with you some photos from my recent holiday in Miami Beach. Some people take photos of the art deco architecture, but not me. I was massively impressed with the new Honda NSX (and despite being in the US it wore Honda badges, rather than Acura). It’s absolutely gorgeous in the metal.

3) Stretched Hummers

You are kept waiting for a limo and then two stretched Hummers arrive at the same time!

4) About a boy

Having dragged my magazine (and son) all over New Zealand, both were a bit worse for wear (back page of CAR didn’t survive). On the ferry, in a rare moment of reading when he wasn’t asleep, the tablet was quickly cast aside in favour of looking at pictures of cars.

5) Lanzarote #2

While having a quiet drink at a Lanzarote bodega a swarm of a dozen Renault Twizys appeared in total silence. One almost ran me over and two needed topping up. Strange!

6) The fun we have

What an amazing day at the Audi dealership I work at in Danbury, Connecticut. I was showing one of my clients the RS7 and noticed this spanking new Porsche 911 GT3 RS was parked next door. The next week we had another GT3 RS going out for delivery. What a fun job I have! The next month I had to deliver a matt-painted Daytona Gray RS7.

7) Hot in harrogate

A cold and wet November evening was suddenly a bit brighter when we spotted this Porsche 918 Spyder in Harrogate town centre. Even in this weather, parked next to the roadworks, it looked pretty special.
