Grappling with a Westfield in the wet

Recently took a Westfield around Rockingham circuit in the pouring rain and now have a new-found respect for anyone who races anything similar. In the wet it takes laughably little to unstick these machines, and you run out of steering lock so quickly that you really have to act quickly to avoid a spin – which, naturally, I didn’t. No wonder our own Andrew Franklin’s Caterham exploits ended in disaster…
